Jin Shin Jyutsu Physio-Philosophy is an ancient Japanese art used to balance the breath and heal mind-body-spirit.  It introduces us to ourselves and teaches us that we have the innate ability to harmonize and balance body, mind, and spirit.

 

Our bodies contain several energy pathways, similar to acupuncture meridians.  When these pathways become blocked by the stress of our daily lives, the energy cannot flow properly.  Stuck energy shows up as physical/emotional symptoms or projects.

 

Sessions generally last about one hour while the receiver lies face-up, fully clothed.  After "listening" to the energy pulses in teh wrists, the practitioner's hands are used as "jumper cables," gently holding combinations of the 26 Safety Energy Locks in different sequences to unblock the energy flow.

 

Master Jiro Murai rediscovered Jin Shin Jyutsu, which helped him recover from a terminal illness, in the early 1900s.  His student, Mary Burmeister, brought the art to America in the 1950s.  Today, this healing art is taught and practiced all over the world.
